• Downpatrick’s first team match was unfortunately called off last Saturday at the eleventh hour, this Saturday they will be hoping for kinder weather when they welcome Orangefield OB’s to Rosconner, kick off is at 2.00pm.
• After last Saturday’s impressive win, the seconds entertain Kirkistown at Dunleath in the league, kick off is 2.00pm.
• The Ladies pre-season begins on Monday 19th January, venue and times to be confirmed. All old and new players are welcome, if anyone is interested please contact manager Mark Leahy 07859 049689 for more information.
• The under 16’s have a free week this week however all players need to make training with a top of the table clash with Lisburn Distillery approaching in a couple of weeks.
• The under 14’s look to build on last Saturdays impressive victory when they play North End in the league, kick off is at 9.30am at the Barbour Playing Fields in Lisburn.
• The under 13’s return to action after the Christmas break this Sunday morning when they play Portaferry in Dunleath, kick off is 11.40am.
• On Saturday morning the under 11’s play in the 9-a-side development league, they play Kilmore Rec and Rossglass County, these games kick off at 11.20am and 11.40am.
• The Mini Soccer section returned on Monday night and again the numbers attending were excellent, the mini soccer games return this Sunday 11th January up in the Red High. If anyone is interested in helping with these age groups or any of the clubs age groups please contact Paul Moore 07549 661772.
