Half Time: Downpatrick FC 2 v Windmill FC 0
Downpatrick started the second half as they finished the first and they were in total control of the game. Winger Ruairi Quinn broke down the left wing and whipped a ball into the near post which Rooney side footed into the net.
This gave them the confidence to keep the ball, for the rest of the game they created chances by playing really good passing football but couldn’t add to their lead. Downpatrick manager Billy Logue was extremely happy about the performance, not just with the attacking threat they posed but also the concentration levels of his keeper and back four who will have busier games but they still kept focused and kept a clean sheet.
