- Have you a couple of hours to spare? We are looking more volunteers/coaches to help out with our growing youth section, particularly our Mini Soccer Age groups. We aren’t asking anyone to come in and be responsible for teams straight away but we do need help with the vast number of children attending. - Downpatrick Ladies dinner dance is on Saturday 15th November in Murphy’s Bar, if anyone is interested in going please contact Kerry Fisher 07918 641992.
- The firsts entertain Orangefield this Saturday in the league at Rosconner, kick off for this match is 2.00pm.
- The seconds face the daunting task of travelling to Premier Division high flyers Ballyvea in the third round of the Bobby Dalzell Cup, kick off is 2.30pm
- Both the Under 14’s & 16’s progressed to the semi-finals of the Shield on Saturday, they have league fixtures this Saturday against Lisburn Distillery and LurganTown.
- The Under 13’s & 11’s are back in action this Saturday after the Halloween break, the 13’s play Rossglass County on Sunday at 11.40am and the Under 11’s play the 9-a-side development fixtures against Rossglass and Castlewellan, the first match kicks off at 11.00am. Both games are in Dunleath.
- The mini soccer games continue on Sunday mornings in the Red High 3G Pitch, training for these age groups continues on a Monday night from 6.00pm – 7.00pm. Please note that children born in years 2008 & 2009 are now training indoors at the De La Salle sports hall at the same time, parents are asked to bring their children to the 3G Pitch as normal.
