Club Notes – Week Beginning 06/06/16

• Downpatrick brought their season to an end on Saturday night when they held their end of season dinner dance in Murphy’s Bar. The major prizewinners included – 1^st Team Managers Player of the Year – Aaron McGarry, 1^st Team Player’s Player of the Year – Aaron McGarry and 1^st Team Top Goal Scorer – Stephen Galbraith. 2^nd Team Managers Player of the Year – Conaill Kerr, 2^nd Team Players Player of the Year – Conaill Kerr and 2^nd Team Top Goal Scorer – Conaill Kerr. The Brian Montgomery Young Player of the Year – Ryan Fitzpatrick. Recognition to Football – Mark Holland,

• We are pleased to announce Emma Bohill’s Consultancy as the new sponsor for Downpatrick Ladies (see picture). Emma’s support for the ladies is very welcome and we look forward to building a relationship with her new business.

• The ladies suffered defeat at home to Ambassadors Fc from Portadown last Wednesday, by a score line of 4 – 1. Downpatrick’s goal was scored by Lisa Kempster. The ladies travel to play Comber Ladies in the league cup this Wednesday night at the Billy Neill Playing Fields, kick off is 7.30pm.
